CATHOLIC STRONG CAMPAIGN
Our parish has been in the first phase of the
Catholic Strong Campaign since September 16th.
I along with 4 team members have been visiting
40 families asking them to consider a major gift
pledge for five years. This phase has been very
successful and the families have been generous
with their pledges.

The next phase is Commitment Weekend, it occurs when parishes reach 70% of their campaign goal. Our parish is close to 70%, so we will have the
Parish Commitment Weekend on December 8th & 9th.

Every registered parishioner will receive an informational packet in the mail next week. I will be asking our parishioners to consider making a pledge from $1,800-5,000 payable over 3 years. This will certainly help the parish reach our goal of $370,000.00. We will receive 70% of the goal ($259,000.00), and 80% of all monies raised over our goal. We will use this to upgrade the electrical system in the Church, (more lighting) and upgrade the bathrooms in the School (near the Hall), and increase parish ministries.

2019 MASS BOOK AVAILABLE
The Mass Intention Book for 2019 is now open. You are welcome to come to the Rectory to request your mass intentions. The cost for an announced mass is $15.00, un-announced mass is $10.00. Any questions, please call Paula at 662-2721
.

FOOD PANTRY NEEDS
Thanksgiving is upon us and as the pantry gets ready for preparing baskets (we average about 150 per season), we turn to you for help.

As usual, our plan is to give a turkey with all the trimmings. We are being supplied with cranberry sauce and enough juice to fill the baskets. Our
major needs right now are the following:

- MASHED POTATOES
- TURKEY GRAVY
- VEGETABES: CORN, GREEN BEANS, PEAS,
- CARROTS, MIXED
- STUFFING
- DESSERTS: (FAVORITE IS BROWNIE MIX)
- SWEET POTATOES OR YAMS (CANNED)

Please check for coupons and good sales at the grocery stores. We have found that Aldi's in Cherry Hill has some good prices. All donations are greatly appreciated, thank you in advance and May God bless you.

LITURGICAL MINISTRIES!
I invite all parishioners to consider being involved in one of the liturgical ministries during our masses. We are in need of Lectors and Eucharistic
Ministers. Please consider being more involved in our Eucharistic celebrations.

If you would like more information please contact Father Ed at the Rectory.

STEWARDSHIP
Stewardship Doers
"Be doers of the word and not hearers only…" (JAMES 1:22)

It is easy to understand the definition of Stewardship. The hard part is living it! What do you do to live God's word? Do you share your time in prayer with God? Do you use your talent to help those in need? Are you generous with your financial resources? If not, what are you waiting for?

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Religious Education registration forms are at the Parish House from 9:00am to 4:00pm during the week or by calling the Religious Education Office at 661-9489.

FISHES & LOAVES FOOD PANTRY
As the cold weather takes hold our food pantry could use donations of canned soup, stews, hot chocolate, instant oatmeal and also jelly. We accept all non-perishable items and donations can be left in the pantry         box at the church entrance.

Ongoing Activities:

NEED SACRAMENTS OR INTERESTED IN THE CATHOLIC FAITH?
Perhaps you have been coming to Mass with a relative or friend and have considered becoming Catholic. Perhaps you did not receive all of your Sacraments as a child in the normal course. Perhaps you know someone like this that is spiritually searching? We have just the right program for you! It is called the Rite of Christian for Adults (R.C.I.A.).

Any adult can investigate and proceed to prepare for the reception of the Sacraments in the Catholic Church in a personal and relaxed manner through this program. Please call the rectory for more information.

INCREASED CONFESSION HOURS
Confessions in both English and Spanish are offered Saturdays, after the 4:30pm Mass until the 6:30pm Mass and again after the 6:30pm. Confessions are also offered in English as usual from 3:30pm until 4:30pm Mass.
